This research explores threat and defensive elements in five Asian US communities: Cambodian, Chinese, Korean, North Indian Hindu, and Pakistani Muslim. These points put social customs, norms, perceptions and philosophy, specially around sex roles, intergenerational household characteristics, intimate interactions, and ways to child-rearing.
